Exit & Emergency Lighting

Emergency lighting systems protect life and avoid accidents. They illuminate essential areas and escape routes when normal lighting systems fail cause of fire, power cut or other emergency.

Emergency lighting is installed in virtually every commercial and high occupancy residential building and is activated as a safety precaution when there is a loss of power, enabling people exit the building safely. For this reason, exit signs are often used in conjunction with emergency lighting.

The lights usually consist of one or more incandescent bulbs or clusters of high-intensity LEDs (light - emitting diodes) and all units have a type of reflector to focus and intensify the light they give off.
